Well, if you know me and my husband - you know that I am six months older then him. And his birthday is this Tuesday - July 14 - so this week-end we celebrated. We never know if Matt will be home during the week. We went back up into the mountains and took a hike. This is what we saw. Matt tried to take the jeep up this but ran into a small snow berm - so we walked up. A steep climb but only a 45 minute walk.
When we got to the top this is what we saw.

This is the look down. Worth the walk. On the way up I took a few pictures of flowers.
What are these? They do look pretty all spread out on the hill side.
A pretty ground cover that should be in a meadow.
This butterfly let me take it's picture. Very nice of it. Well that was our Saturday. Sunday we ate too much angle food cake with fresh raspberries and whipped cream. So if Matt is home on Tuesday all he gets is a Happy Birthday!! And I don't get called old lady for another 6 months.

As for your trek, it looks just like a place Cristy brought me my first summer home...where I can almost verify there was NO smooching.
